Executive Director/Executive Producer
Bruce Orenstein is the founder and executive director of the Chicago Video Project. He’s written, directed, and produced, or executive produced, all of CVP’s advocacy and organizing videos. Most recently, Mr. Orenstein produced the PBS documentary American Idealist: The Story of Sargent Shriver. His other television credits include the Emmy award-winning WTTW documentary, No Place to Live: Chicago’s Affordable Housing Crisis, and the Emmy-nominated PBS documentary, The Democratic Promise: Saul Alinsky & His Legacy. Prior to his career as a filmmaker, Mr. Orenstein was a community organizer with Alinsky-style organizations in Chicago, Seattle, and Fort Wayne Indiana, where he organized numerous campaigns around affordable housing, public education, employment, youth services, environmental awareness, and community health care issues.

Producer
Bill Glader is a director/cameraman who has won numerous awards, including a Chicago Emmy for his documentary Inside Streetwise. Bill also teaches various filmmaking courses at Columbia College.

Additional Support
James Davis is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a background from development to distribution in both social and commercial media production. James is currently assisting in the research and development for Chicago Video Project's upcoming documentary, TRANSFORMATION GENERATION.
