

Executive Director/Executive Producer
Bruce Orenstein is the founder and executive director of CVP. Bruce has over
13 years experience as a community organizer. He has managed
successful issue campaigns on housing, education, youth services,
and health care. Combining community organizing experience
with his ten years experience in video production, he has
written, directed and produced more than 50 advocacy videos.
Bruce also co-produced and directed The Democratic
Promise: Saul Alinsky & His Legacy, a one-hour PBS
documentary. In 2002 he won a Midwest Emmy for the television
documentary No Place to Live: Chicago’s Affordable
Housing Crisis.
Producers
Bill Glader is a director/cameraman who has won numerous
awards, including a Chicago Emmy for his documentary Inside
Streetwise. Bill also teaches various filmmaking courses
at Columbia College.
Wendy Rosen specializes in developing
media products for not-for-profit organizations. She
consults with groups to define measurable communication
objectives by targeting audiences, analyzing needs and
recommending media products that reach goals. She holds
a Master’s
degree in Instructional Design. Wendy has 20 years experience
developing creative treatments, writing scripts, producing,
directing and editing. Her honors include more than 50
awards: New York International Film Festival, Visual
Communications Team of the Year Award, AIME Awards, International
Video Festival, Chicago Philo Awards, Telly Awards, Intercom,
U.S. International Film and Video Festival, HESCA, American
Corporate Video Awards, Aurora Awards, Astrid Awards,
Cindy Awards, Illinois Society for Health Care Marketing
and Public Relations, International Health and Medical
Film Festival and Hawkeye Awards.
Outreach
Anna Gomberg conducts outreach for the Chicago Video Project with a focus on educational applications for American Idealist: The Story of Sargent Shriver. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (M.A., '06) and Hampshire College (B.A., '03).
